I'm going to add more recordings soon, after I get over my microphone fright.

Pavana by Francisco Tarrega. Tarrega (1852-1909) was a leader of the modern Spanish guitar movement as both composer and virtuoso. A "pavana" is a slow, stately Renaissance dance, named after a peacock. In the case of this piece, the name is also a play on words. The piece makes full use of the guitar fret board (from the 1st to the 14th fret) with numerous strikes and slides. The "dance" is really performed by the guitarist's left hand.

Classical Gas by Mason Williams. This Emmy Award winning piece is a standard favourite. It is surprisingly easy to play, with most sections being comprised of simple arpeggiated chords. I don't play it very well, but I'll record it again sometime when I'm feeling up to it.
